Post: Digital Education Initiative Launched for Autistic Children in Brunei.

Kampung Mata-Mata: The Digital Education Initiative for Autistic Children was officially launched at the SMARTER Brunei EDGE Centre, marking a significant step in aligning educational strategies with Brunei Darussalam's Digital Economy Masterplan 2025. This initiative, highlighting the collaboration between government, academia, and industry sectors, aims to create innovative solutions tailored to the needs of autistic children, promoting inclusivity and fostering a digital society. The launch event was addressed by the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Mohammad Yusof, the Permanent Secretary, emphasized that the initiative ensures autistic children can access technological benefits to thrive academically. He stressed that social inclusivity is essential for building a smart nation. The initiative, codenamed 'Embrace Differences', is spearheaded by Group NurRheiya under the Community Outreach Programme of the 31st Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers and organised by the Civil Service Institute.
