Corporate Income Tax Socialisation Session Held by Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Bandar Seri Begawan: To improve companies’ understanding of tax administration in the country, the Ministry of Finance and Economy through the Revenue Division held a Socialisation Session on Corporate Income Tax. The session also aimed to help companies raise awareness on Corporate Income Tax compliance including Basis of Assessment, Tax Obligation, Tax Computation, and Tax Filing in accordance with the Income Tax Act, Chapter 35. It was held at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the socialisation session was designed to address the complexities of Corporate Income Tax and to ensure that companies are well-informed about their tax obligations. The initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to foster a transparent and efficient tax system, ultimately facilitating businesses in fulfilling their tax responsibilities more effectively.
