Bandar Seri Begawan: The Consumer Fair Conference 2025, known as CONFAC25, is set to unite micro, small, and medium enterprises from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines to explore emerging business opportunities. The event is hosted by Sunlit Sendirian Berhad, co-organised by Confer Sendirian Berhad, and supported by several prominent organizations, including the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam, BIMP-EAGA Business Council Brunei Darussalam, ASEAN Business Advisory Council of Brunei Darussalam, and the APEC Business Advisory Council of Brunei Darussalam.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the conference was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. Awang Haji Alimen bin Haji Ja'afar, Director of BIMP-EAGA Brunei Darussalam, delivered a welcoming remark that underscored Brunei's pivotal role in regional collaboration. He shared a vision for economic diversification and global engagement.
The conference includes discussions focused on business opportunities and investment, taking place at the International Convention Centre. It coincides with the 30th Consumer Fair and Trade Expo, providing a platform for dialogue among key stakeholders in the region.
