Comelec to Post BSKE Results Online Next Week, Says Chairman Garcia
MANILA – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has slated the official release of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) results for the following week.
According to Philippines News Agency, the commission is in the process of finalizing the results, gathering data from various field offices across the country. “We are still awaiting the submission from the field. We are also prioritizing the salary of the electoral boards,” Garcia communicated via a Viber message. The compilation of election data is ongoing, and the expectation is to have the results from all 42,001 barangays available on the Comelec website by next week, specifically by Thursday or Friday.
Additionally, updates from the Comelec – Philippine National Police Election Monitoring System (PNP EMS) and BSKE Command Center indicate a slight uptick in election-related incidents. Three new injuries reported in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) brought the total number of injuries to 28. The count of election-related fatalities stands at 19.
