Closure of Main Entrance to Emergency Department, Suri Seri Begawan Hospital

Kuala Belait: The main entrance to the Emergency Department at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital is temporarily closed to facilitate ongoing construction and renovation work on the department’s new block.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the closure is scheduled to begin on Friday, 21st of March, 2025, and will remain in effect until the completion of the construction work. The Ministry of Health has announced in a media release that visitors and patients can access the Emergency Department through an alternate route via the Entrance Road of the Learning and Development Centre at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital.

In the meantime, the hospital aims to ensure that all emergency services remain functional and accessible through the temporary entrance. The Ministry of Health has urged patients and visitors to follow the new route and to remain patient during this period of transition.
