Bandar seri begawan: A Chinese citizen was fined BND14,800 for possessing cigarettes without a valid permit. LI XIYIN, a Chinese national, was found to be in possession of 14 cartons and 8 packets of cigarettes of various brands. The defendant was detained during an inspection at the arrival hall of Brunei International Airport. According to Radio Television Brunei, all contraband cigarettes were seized and are set to be destroyed.
