Post: Cebu Anti-Drug Operation Confiscates PHP3.7 Million Worth of Shabu

CEBU – In a northern upland village of Consolacion town, an anti-drug operation on Sunday led to the seizure of PHP3.7 million worth of suspected shabu and the arrest of a former drug convict.

According to Philippines News Agency, information officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the arrested individual, Philip Llaguno, age 41, was previously convicted for drug offenses in 2009. The suspect was apprehended at his residence in Barangay Lamac, Consolacion, where operatives recovered 10 packs of what is believed to be shabu, with a total weight of approximately 550 grams. Alcantara disclosed to the Philippine News Agency that Llaguno had been under surveillance due to reports of his return to drug dealing activities, reportedly capable of distributing at least two kilos of shabu weekly. Authorities are currently preparing new drug charges against him.
