Mandaluyong City - A resident from Cavite has claimed the PHP147.3 million jackpot prize from the October 15 Super Lotto 6/49 draw. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) confirmed that the 46-year-old winner claimed his prize at their main office in Mandaluyong City on October 17.
According to Philippines News Agency, the winner initially did not realize his win and rechecked the draw results on Facebook.
The fortunate bettor revealed that his winning combination was a Lucky Pick, a system-generated selection, based on his previous bets. Prior to this major win, he had won smaller amounts in the Super Lotto 6/49. The winner plans to use his newfound wealth to build his family's dream house, emphasizing his commitment to his family's welfare. The PCSO Charter, Republic Act 1169, requires winners to claim their prize within a year from the draw date to avoid forfeiture. The PCSO also reminded the public that all jackpot prizes must be claimed at its main office in Mandaluyong City, with the winner required to present two government-issued IDs and the signed winning ticket. The PCSO encouraged continued public support for its products, as a significant portion of its revenues is allocated for charity programs.
