His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, participated in 'HM The Sultan's 77th Birthday Ride'. The event, organized by the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club, marked His Majesty's 77th birthday celebration.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ride started at the Jerudong Park Polo and Riding Club and concluded at The Empire Brunei. His Majesty was welcomed upon arrival by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Sanggamara Diraja Retired Major General Pengiran Haji Ibnu Basith, Chairman of the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club. His Majesty's family, including His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen, Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah, and Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah, also attended the event.
The ride commenced at Field One of the Jerudong Park Polo and Riding Club, traversing towards Jerudong beach and passing the Jerudong Beach Market area. Veteran polo players from the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club participated alongside His Majesty. The Sultan then transitioned to an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) for the journey to The Empire Brunei, joined by his family members including His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, Prince 'Abdul Malik, Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, and Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah. The event concluded with a breakfast and underscored the Monarch's encouragement for physical activities and a healthy lifestyle.
