Brunei to Host Multiple Blood Donation Drives to Boost National Reserves


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Blood Donation Centre, under the Department of Laboratory Services, is set to conduct several blood donation campaigns across Brunei in an effort to replenish the country’s blood bank reserves. The series of events will take place from August 12th to 18th at various locations throughout the nation.



According to Radio Television Brunei, The campaign will kick off on August 12th at the Annajat Complex in Beribi and will continue over the following days, including at RTB Sungai Akar in celebration of the 49th TV Service Day, the IBTE School of Aviation in Berakas, and the Nira Store in Sunway Centre, Sungai Tilong. The final drive of this series will be held at the Blood Donation Centre located in the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital on August 18th. Organizers encourage potential donors to use the BloodKad app to book donation slots. Walk-ins are also welcome during office hours at the hospital’s donation center, underscoring the community’s vital role in supporting national health initiatives.
