Brunei Sultan Sends Congratulatory Messages on Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the leaders and people of Indonesia on their 79th Independence Day.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Sultan conveyed messages to His Excellency Dato Laila Utama Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, and His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, Minister of Defence and President-elect. His Majesty’s messages reflected the strong bilateral ties and expressed best wishes to the government and people of Indonesia on this historic occasion.
