Brunei Students Depart for ASEAN Science Odyssey in Cambodia
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, BRUNEI – Six Year 10 students from Brunei have embarked on an educational journey to participate in the 10th ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APTJSO-10). This event, organized by Cambodia’s Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, with support from the ASEAN Plus Three Centre for the Gifted in Science and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, will take place in Siem Reap from July 22 to 26, 2024.
The Brunei delegation, accompanied by officers from the Centre for the Development of Gifted and Talented Education (EDGE) under the Ministry of Education, departed on July 20. Dr. Mona Aliana binti Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Amin, head of the center, is overseeing the group. Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including meetings with scientists, laboratory evaluations, and cultural exchanges, enhancing their scientific knowledge and cultural understanding.
