Brunei Primary Schools Adapt to Integrated General and Religious Education System

Bandar Seri Begawan — Primary school students across Brunei are adapting to the recent integration of religious subjects into the general education curriculum, a change that took effect on November 1.

According to Radio Television Brunei, students and teachers participated in a mass Zohor prayer during the lunch break, exemplifying the new integration. The school hours for pre-school up to Primary 3 have been restructured to accommodate the change, with classes now running from 7:30 am to 12 noon and then resuming from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. This schedule adjustment affects government, private, and international schools involved in the integration.
