Bandar seri begawan: In a concerted effort to address immigration violations, the Law Enforcement Division's Kuala Belait Branch of the Department of Immigration and National Registration has recently executed two significant operations in Mukim Belait and Mukim Liang.
According to Radio Television Brunei, these operations targeted specific areas known for immigration offences. The primary violation identified during these operations was individuals working in roles not stated in their passports. As a result of the operation in Mukim Belait, one foreign national was apprehended for this offence.
In a separate operation in Mukim Liang, authorities detained one out of seven foreign nationals for further investigation into similar immigration violations. These efforts underscore the ongoing commitment of Brunei's immigration authorities to enforce strict compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
