Brunei Hosts Medical, Dental and Allied Health Students’ Conference
PANTAI JERUDONG, BRUNEI — The Medical, Dental and Allied Health Students’ Conference was held at Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC), organized by the Brunei Medical Students’ Association. This event served as a critical platform for student-led research and innovation in healthcare, attracting participation from various medical fields.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the conference featured a dialogue session on July 21st that included Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. Discussions focused on the impactful roles of medical students within the community. The event, under the theme ‘Empowering Future Healthcare Leaders: Education, Collaboration and Advocacy,’ was the second of its kind, aiming to foster education and dialogue among future healthcare leaders. It featured presentations from participants in pharmacy, dentistry, biomedical sciences, and medicine, sponsored by the Brunei Medical Association, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Education.
