Rizal Province Bettor Wins PHP12.7 Million in 6/42 Lotto Jackpot
RIZAL — A bettor from Rizal province claimed the PHP12.7 million jackpot in Saturday night’s 6/42 Lotto draw, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). The winning ticket, which matched all six numbers, was purchased in Cainta.
According to Philippines News Agency, the winning combination for the draw was 27-23-17-41-15-29. The lucky winner will have one year to claim the jackpot of PHP12,725,157.60 at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, with the requirement of presenting the winning ticket and two identification cards.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 36 other bettors won PHP24,000 each for matching five of the six winning numbers. A further 1,464 participants will receive PHP800 each for correctly guessing four numbers. PCSO noted that all lotto winnings over PHP10,000 are subject to a 20% tax as stipulated by the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.
The 6/42 Lotto is conducted three times a week, with draws on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
