Post: Brunei History Centre Hosts Open Day for Charity and Community Engagement

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Brunei History Centre's Open Day 2023 was organized to foster community engagement and support children in need. The two-day event, held at the centre, was themed "Bersama Mengelinga" and aimed to strengthen community ties.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The event was a part of the Charity Project: Bersama Mengelinga, coordinated by the Administration and Management Division of the Brunei History Centre in collaboration with the Council on Social Welfare, MKM. During the Open Day, 25 children from less fortunate backgrounds received contributions to purchase school necessities and stationery. Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, presented the contributions, emphasizing the centre's commitment to supporting education and aiding children in need.
