Brunei District Representatives Discuss Strategies for Global Tourism Promotion
Bandar Seri Begawan: Promoting Brunei tourism to the global stage was among the matters touched upon in the Motion of Vote of Thanks by District Representatives. Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin emphasized the need for more organized deliberations to provide ample space for discussing national policies raised among the people.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Mohamed stressed the necessity of an inclusive and far-sighted approach to achieve the country’s objectives effectively and sustainably. Yang Berhormat Awang Mohamad Ali bin Tanjong advocated for broadening Brunei’s tourism promotion by securing suitable and sufficient allocations to reach a global audience.
Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan underscored the responsibility and obligation of all involved to ensure the peace and well-being of the citizens and the nation. Meanwhile, Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Md. Salleh bin Haji Othman highlighted the need to increase productivity and revenue across various sectors, including agriculture, transportation, education, health, tourism, security, and public service.
Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann pointed out that existing policies must be reviewed to align with current suitability, particularly those related to government assistance schemes.
