KAGAWA: The 48th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP) contingent from Brunei Darussalam returned home, sharing insights and experiences that could inspire local youth and elevate the nation's profile on an international stage. According to Radio Television Brunei, the participants were welcomed at Brunei International Airport by Dayang Hajah Umi Kalthum binti Haji Abdul Karim, Director of Youth and Sports. The SSEAYP provided the youth with opportunities to engage and exchange ideas with peers from Southeast Asia and Japan, fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration. The program's focus on developing leadership skills and promoting mutual understanding aims to prepare participants for future leadership roles in their respective countries.
