Post: Brunei Darussalam Indian Chamber of Commerce Holds Tahlil Ceremony

Bandar seri begawan: A delegation from the Brunei Darussalam Indian Chamber of Commerce conducted a Tahlil Ceremony on the afternoon of March 8 for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The ceremony was led by Awang Nazeer Ahamed Zacakariah, who is the President of the Brunei Darussalam Indian Chamber of Commerce.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was organized to honor the late members of the Bruneian royal family. The Tahlil Ceremony holds significance in Islamic tradition as it is conducted to offer prayers for the deceased. The event was attended by members of the chamber and other invited guests. The ceremony provided an opportunity for attendees to pay their respects and remember the contributions of the late royal family members to Brunei Darussalam.
