Bandar Seri Begawan: In order to express love for the country and instil patriotism, various parties in the country are organising Flag Hoisting Ceremonies in conjunction with the 41st Brunei Darussalam National Day. The STKRJ Lambak Kiri Consultative Council held such a ceremony at the RPN Lambak Kanan Community Hall.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Awang Daud bin Jihan, Member of the Legislative Council. The event was jointly organised by the Kampung Pancha Delima and Kampung Orang Kaya Besar Imas Consultative Councils.
The Mukim Liang Consultative Council also organised a Flag Hoisting ceremony at the Liang Lumut Recreation Club in Belait District. In attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman, Member of the Legislative Council.
The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association also held such a ceremony at the association's headquarters in Gadong. Present was Dato Paduka Architect Haji Idris bin Haji Abas, the association's president.
