Belait District Office Signs Grass Cutting Service Contract with Local Company

Bandar seri begawan: The Belait District Office has taken a significant step in promoting local business participation by signing a Grass Cutting Service Contract Agreement with a company under the Perumahan Negara Panaga A Consultative Council. The initiative is part of the district’s broader strategy to encourage mukim and village consultative councils to establish business enterprises and engage with project opportunities offered by government bodies.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the contract was formalized at a ceremony attended by key figures, including Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, the Acting Belait District Officer. The agreement tasks the appointed company with grass cutting operations across nine designated areas within the Belait District. This move not only fosters local business growth but also ensures the maintenance of public spaces in the region.
