Belait District Celebrates Local and Foreign Cat Competition

Kuala Belait — The Belait District’s Executive Administrative Committee for His Majesty’s 78th Birthday Celebration hosted a Local and Foreign Cat Competition on August 11 at the Kuala Belait Municipal Hall. This event, organized by the Belait District’s Woman Groups Association (WI), attracted cat enthusiasts from the area to participate and showcase their beloved pets.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the wife of the Acting Belait District officer who presented the prizes, the competition featured 20 cats competing across five different categories. The annual event aims not only to celebrate the beauty and unique characteristics of various cat breeds but also to foster a greater appreciation for cats among the public.
