Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam - The Rooftop Edition of Baiduri Lokal Market 2023, featuring over 20 local food vendors and green entrepreneurs, is currently underway at Baiduri Headquarters. The event, organized in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, JASTRe, began on the afternoon of November 24th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Dr. Nor Imtihan Binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment at the Ministry of Development, officiated the 3-day event. The market serves as a platform for local MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to promote sustainable and low-impact lifestyles. In line with its environmental focus, the use of single-use plastics is restricted at the event, encouraging more eco-friendly practices among participants and visitors.
