Kuala Lumpur: The 103rd Council Meeting and the ASEAN Leaders’ Interface with ASEAN Business Advisory Council, or ASEAN-BAC, recently convened in Malaysia. Chaired by ASEAN-BAC Malaysia, the meeting brought together council members from all ten ASEAN member states to evaluate progress on regional economic deliverables and flagship initiatives.
According to Radio Television Brunei, during the meeting in Kuala Lumpur, council members presented consolidated updates and policy recommendations to ASEAN leaders, reaffirming the private sector’s commitment to advancing ASEAN’s economic integration and development goals beyond 2025. Musa Adnin, Chair of ASEAN-BAC Brunei Darussalam, announced that the Brunei Business Conference will take place in Bandar Seri Begawan on July 1, 2025.
The council also reviewed preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and ASEAN Business Awards 2025, which aim to connect ASEAN with global business leaders and policymakers.
