Post: Arrival of First Flight of Haj Pilgrims at Brunei International Airport

Brunei: The first flight carrying 252 Brunei Darussalam Haj pilgrims arrived safely at Brunei International Airport at 12:42 on the afternoon of June 3rd.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the arrival of the pilgrims was warmly welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The welcoming party also included Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman bin Alidin, Commissioner of Police, Royal Brunei Police Force; and His Excellency Saleh bin Abdulkarim Al-Shiha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam.

The second flight of pilgrims is scheduled to arrive on June 4th, 2026.
