Appreciation Ceremony Honors Participants of YOUTH: Leadership, Innovate, Talent and Empowerment Programme 2025

Bandar seri begawan: 38 participants from Higher Education Institutions, Youth Associations and Movements, as well as individual youths nationwide, were celebrated at the Mekar Y-LITE 2025 Day Ceremony, part of the YOUTH: Leadership, Innovate, Talent and Empowerment Programme 2025. The event took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the best participants received sponsored prizes, appreciation certificates, and souvenirs across four categories: the Post-Programme Activity Category, the Aspirational Participant Category, the Growing Potential Participant Category, and the Excellent Participant Category. Dayang Zainab binti Haji Morshidi, Director of Youth and Sports Development at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, presented the awards.

The Y-LITE programme aims to develop youth as future leaders and agents of change, aligning with the National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020 to 2035. It also prepares them as Future Ready Youth at regional and international levels.
