Appointed Members Urge Immediate Solutions for Water Supply Quality Issues
Bandar Seri Begawan: Several issues were raised by the Appointed Members during the Committee Level Deliberations for the Ministry of Development. Among them was the immediate need for solutions to address the recurring problem of water supply quality.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the discussions highlighted the necessity of ensuring that all areas, both urban and rural, have access to technology. Additionally, there was a focus on measures to further increase the involvement of local entrepreneurs and technical professionals in the construction industry.
The deliberations also covered the status of implementation of projects aimed at addressing flooding and natural disasters. Furthermore, concerns were raised about recipients of the National Housing Scheme renting out their houses to other people.
