Active weather conditions are still forecasted for the next few days due to the moist atmospheric conditions that enhanced the development of rain clouds.
Active weather conditions are expected to start on the 5th July 2023 until Sunday, 9th July with occasional heavy and thundery showers affecting many areas of the country. Wind speed may reach up to 45 kilometres per hour during or near heavy thundershowers. Over Brunei waters, sea state is generally at slight, between 0.3 and 0.8 metre. Members of the public are advised to take precautionary actions with respect to the forecasted active weather condition. There is a risk of flash floods especially at low-lying and flood prone areas as well as near the river banks during continuous heavy rain and also during high tide. Risk of landslide and fallen trees are also possible during heavy showers and gusty condition.
