Post: 9th Steering Committee Meeting Highlights AIMS Programme Development.

Bandar Seri Begawan: The 9th Steering Committee Meeting of the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme focused on enhancing roles, functions, and addressing technical issues to further develop the programme. The discussions included innovative mobility strategies, aligning with the Southeast Asia-Europe Mobility for Sustainable Development objectives. The meeting commenced with an opening ceremony at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah on the morning of November 6th. According to Radio Television Brunei, Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, was present at the event. The two-day meeting featured sessions on sharing AIMS Programme processes to support regional harmonisation and systems for internationalisation. The event was co-organised by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and the SEAMEO RIHED Centre, with participation from AIMS Programme members.
