Post: 33rd SEA Games: National Sepak Takraw Team Faces Mixed Results in Bangkok


Bangkok: The national Sepak Takraw team participated in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand, where they competed in a group stage match against Laos on December 16, 2025. The match was held at the Nakhon Pathom Gymnasium Stadium, concluding with Laos securing a victory in straight sets, 2-0.



According to Radio Television Brunei, despite the initial setback against Laos, the national team was awarded a victory in their subsequent match against Cambodia. This victory came through a ‘Walkover’, as the Cambodian team did not compete in the scheduled match.
