Bandar Seri Begawan: The 2025 Scout Village Programme, which commenced on June 14, concluded on the afternoon of June 16 with a Closing Ceremony at the Sports Village, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex. The event was organised by the Uniformed and Services Division, Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education, and the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony featured the presentation of prizes, badges, and certificates of participation, officiated by Dayang Mariana binti Haji Jamil, Acting Director of Islamic Studies. The programme saw participation from 80 Girl Guides and Girl Guide Rangers from Form Six Centres and Secondary Schools under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Held under the theme “EKSA Girls – Leading Brunei 2035”, the programme aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in areas such as scouting, leadership, thinking, communication, and collaboration.
