Covering and Sheltering Faults

There are people who often misuse social medias and phone applications to spread reveal their faults or other people's faults such as through texts, images, videos and others. Yesterday's Friday Sermon titled Covering and Sheltering Faults stressed that a pious person must always avoid hurting others either through actions or words. Revealing other's fault is considered as 'Ghibah' or backbiting.

Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala creates humans with their own advantages and disadvantages. Hence, if we see anyone doing shameful act in secret, we must not reveal them to others. Such faults must be concealed, and advise the person when they are alone and in a closed place.
