Kampung tungku: 19 youth participants from various sectors, including the private sector, academia, and individual participants, were awarded certificates at the Closing Ceremony for the 10th Youth Exposure Programme for High-Tech Agriculture. The event was held this afternoon at the Post Harvest Training and Service Centre, Agricultural Development Area Office.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the certificates were presented by Awang Abuzar bin Haji Mohd Tahir, the Acting Director of Agriculture and Agri-Food. The programme included briefing sessions and practical placements at selected farms, where participants learned about investment opportunities in agriculture, as well as advanced techniques like hydroponic and fertigation technology and disease control.
The nine-day initiative, organized by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-food under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, aims to encourage youth participation in the agricultural sector.
