Young Writers Programme 2025: Short Story Writing Workshop Kicks Off in Berakas

Berakas: The Language and Literature Bureau, through its Literature and Magazine Division, is spearheading the Young Writers Programme 2025: Short Story Writing Workshop. The initiative, hosted at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas, is designed to offer ongoing encouragement and support to young writers, fostering the development of quality literary works.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, was present at the event. The three-day programme sees the participation of officers and staff from government departments, teachers, undergraduates from higher learning institutions, students, and individual participants. The workshop aims to guide young writers to adopt a more systematic and focused approach to their craft.
