Post: Yayasan Volunteers Receive Recognition for Contributions

Bandar seri begawan: Volunteers and strategic partners of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah are urged to continue their contributions in the planning and implementation of projects and activities and further enhance them in the future. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports made this call during the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Volunteers Appreciation Ceremony. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, as Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee, expressed gratitude towards the volunteers who tirelessly provide their energy, time, and ideas to fulfill their responsibilities, devoted to the community and the country.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports also stated that the existing volunteering platform provides space for every level of society, whether at the group or individual level, to jointly contribute to creating a conducive environment for inclusive shared well-being.

The ceremony featured the presentation of Appreciation Certificates to 160 active volunteers, as well as the presentation of the 2024/2025 Active Volunteers Appreciation Award and the Long-Serving Volunteer Appreciation Award. Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors, along with the Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee, was also present at the event.
