Jerudong: The WorldSkills Brunei National Competition is underway, spanning over three days at multiple selected locations, with its main focus at Bridex, Jerudong. The event features participants competing in 16 distinct skill areas, including Construction and Building Technology, Creative Arts and Fashion, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, and Social and Personal Services.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the competition has attracted participants from both public and private institutions, providing them with the opportunity to challenge themselves and test their skills across various domains aligned with current industry demands. In an effort to foster early interest and skill development, the competition also introduces a special category for school students in video production.
