Berakas – The emergency repair work on a water pipe at the International Convention Centre in Berakas has been completed, according to a press release from the Public Works Department. The repairs, finalized on the afternoon of April 27, are expected to gradually restore water supply to the affected areas. Residents in higher elevations may continue to experience disruptions or low water pressure as the system stabilizes.
According to Radio Television Brunei, residents with water filters should use them to release water in order to manage the flow effectively during the recovery period. The department has also set up a hotline, Talian Darussalam 123, for residents to report any complaints or issues related to the water supply as the restoration efforts continue.
