Belait: The voting and selection process for the Head of Kampung Lumut Tiga Mukim Liang took place at the Lumut Satu Community Hall in the Belait District on the morning of November 30th. The event was marked by the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Mohamad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, a Member of the Legislative Council, along with Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, the Acting Belait District Officer.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the election featured a sole candidate, 36-year-old Awang Shakri bin Jamil. Out of the 141 individuals registered to vote, an overwhelming majority of 140 cast their votes in favor of Awang Shakri bin Jamil becoming the village head.
