Visit To the Royal Brunei Police Force Headquarters

During the visit to the Royal Brunei Police Force Headquarters, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam chaired a closed meeting with senior officers of the Royal Brunei Police Force. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.

 

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Ministers at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force and Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman bin Alidin, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force. The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohd Amerol bin Haji Metusin, Assistant Criminal Investigation Officer of Brunei Muara Police District.

 

His Majesty then proceeded to the Putera Negara Conference Room for a closed meeting with the Royal Brunei Police Force senior officers.

 

With its age of more than a century, the Royal Brunei Police Force formulated various initiatives to ensure the peace and stability of the country. Apart from that, the Royal Brunei Police Force also cooperates not only with related agencies and the public, but also with regional and international police forces to fight and prevent trans-border crime.
