UTB and Makan Ceria Sign MoU to Enhance Research and Training in Food Science

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM — Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Makan Ceria Sendirian Berhad celebrated a significant collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at boosting cooperation in research, education, and training, especially within the Food Science and Technology Program. The ceremony took place on the afternoon of June 22 at the McDonalds Drive Thru in Jerudong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice Chancellor of UTB, and Awang Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adanan, Chairman of Makan Ceria, officiated the signing. This partnership promises to provide UTB students with practical experience through industrial placements and joint research projects focusing on food science and technology.
