U.S. Sports Envoy Program Launched in Brunei

KAMPUNG ANGGREK DESA – A media conference was held this afternoon to announce the launch of the U.S. Sports Envoy Programme, a joint initiative by the Embassy of the United States of America in Brunei Darussalam and Chung Hwa School Kiudang.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event took place at a local hotel in Kampung Anggerek Desa. The program is set to commence tomorrow at Chung Hwa School Kiudang and will feature Olympic athlete Howard Bach and para-athlete Amy Burnett. The initiative aims to promote inclusion in sports through badminton training clinics designed for athletes, coaches, and community leaders. Support for the program is provided by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the Brunei Darussalam Paralympic Council.
