Tutong Town Celebrates with Festive Parade and Fireworks

TUTONG TOWN — The spirit of celebration filled the air in Tutong Town on the night of August 3, 2024, as the community came together for the Tutong Town Festival. This annual event, coinciding with His Majesty’s 78th Birthday celebrations, featured a vibrant parade and a stunning fireworks display, centered around Jalan Enche Awang and the Tutong Town Jetty area.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The festival was attended by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd. Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office. Organized by the Tutong Municipal Department, Tutong District Office, and the Tutong District Development and Creative Body, along with Tutong District Volunteers and the Tutong District Mukim and Village Consultative Council, the event highlighted the town’s community spirit and creative energy, bringing together residents and visitors for a memorable celebration.
