Post: Tahlil Ceremony Conducted by Former Foreign Affairs Officials at Royal Mausoleum

Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, a group of former commissioners, ambassadors, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducted a Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum. The ceremony was in memory of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony aimed to enliven the spirit of the holy month and to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. The Tahlil, a prayer ritual in Islam, was attended by the former officials as a mark of respect and remembrance for the departed royals. The event underscored the spiritual significance of Ramadhan and the communal efforts to honor past leaders.
