Tutong District's Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School emerged as the champion in the 3rd Pehin Jawatan Dalam Cup History Quiz Competition this morning.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Head of the Brunei History Centre, the competition was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and was attended by Awang Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, the Permanent Secretary for Youth at the ministry. The competition aims to instill a deep understanding of national history and Islamic heritage, aligned with the principles of Maqasid Syariah. Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School received a $1,000 prize and a challenge trophy, while Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School and Ma'had Islam Brunei took second and third place, respectively.
