Maulidur Rasul Celebrations Held Across Three Districts

Tutong: The Maulidur Rasul Assembly and Procession took place simultaneously in Tutong, Belait, and Temburong districts, drawing thousands of participants. In Tutong District, the event covered a 1.4-kilometer route, beginning and ending at the open area in front of the Tutong District Civic Centre Complex Field. Attendees included Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. A total of 2,281 participants from 37 teams joined the procession.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Belait District ceremony, held at Padang Bandaran, Kuala Belait, saw the participation of 2,625 individuals across 35 teams. Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development. The ceremony featured a tazkirah or talk titled ‘Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasalam Adalah Teladan Keluarga Sakinah Mawaddah Warahmah’.

In Temburong District, the procession included over 1,047 participants from 19 teams, covering a 1.6-kilometer distance at the Bangar Town Civic Centre Complex Area. Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Info-Communications, was in attendance to witness the event.
