Ministry of Religious Affairs Hosts Donation Presentation Ceremony for Orphans

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs organised a donation presentation ceremony for 28 orphans of the ministry’s staff. The event held at the ministry, 26th March morning, aimed to instil noble values through charity work and giving alms.

According to Radio Television Brunei, present at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The function ran concurrently with the reading of Tahlil. The donations among other things will help to alleviate the recipients’ plight, and as preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
