Solar-Powered Water System Brings Relief to 200 Families in Albay
Sto. Domingo, Albay-A newly inaugurated solar-powered water system in Sto. Domingo, Albay, is now providing clean and safe water to approximately 200 families in Barangay Lidong, courtesy of the Ako Bicol (AKB) Party-List. The project, which was officially turned over on Thursday, aims to significantly improve the daily lives of the residents by providing easy access to potable water.
According to Philippines News agency, the installation of the water system has solved a critical issue for the village, where residents previously had to travel over 500 meters to fetch water. The new system is not just a physical infrastructure but a transformational project that will enhance living conditions in the community. Plans are underway to add 12 communal faucets throughout the village to further ease access to water for all residents.
