Post: Reading of Tahlil and Doa Selamat Ceremony Highlights International Nursing and Midwifery Day

Bandar seri begawan: The International Nursing and Midwifery Day is celebrated in appreciation of the services and contributions of nurses and midwives in the country, besides strengthening unity, cooperation, and professionalism in the fields of nursing and midwifery. In conjunction with the celebration, on the afternoon of 12th May, the Ministry of Health held a mass Fardhu Zuhur and Sunat Hajat Prayers, reading of Tahlil, and special doa. The ceremony took place at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, was present at the event. The celebration serves as a platform to empower leadership and enhance the safety and quality of nursing and midwifery services so that they continue to be resilient, innovative, and proactive.
