Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony Marks UBD’s 37th Convocation

Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with the 37th Convocation of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), a Khatam Al-Qur’an and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held at Masjid Universiti, UBD on the afternoon of August 6th. The event was marked by the participation of over 230 students, symbolizing a significant religious observance in the context of the convocation.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah during the ceremony was led by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, the Vice Chancellor of UBD, signifying the importance of the event within the university’s convocation activities.
